About me
I am Reza Azarmanesh, and studied my M.Sc. of Civil Engineering at Iran University of Science and Technology (IUST) (ranked 600th based on QS ranking). My major is Environmental Engineering, and my thesis project is "’ Increase Efficiency of Sewage Sludge Anaerobic Digestion and Biogas Production by Using food waste Co-substrate." and I graduated in September 2019.
My research interests encompass several aspects of environmental biotechnology with a focus on renewable energy and biological treatment. in fact, my research interests include anaerobic co-digestion, anaerobic membrane bioreactors for wastewater and sludge treatment, biological nitrogen and phosphorus removal, nutrient recovery from wastewater, planning the pre-treatment of sludge for enhanced digestion, and understanding advanced sludge digestion processes for the benefit of human and environmental health.
In addition, my master thesis chose as an industrial project supported by Iran National Science Funding (INSF) and partial fund by IUST Green Research Center (GRC) (selective thesis competition).
